Circle filtered traffic at the router — great for home WiFi, invisible everywhere else. Sunlight lives on the device itself, so the rules follow your kid wherever they go.

  • Works on cellular, school WiFi, everywhere

    Because Sunlight runs through Apple's MDM framework and encrypted DNS on the device — not your home router — filtering follows your child to school, a friend's house, or anywhere with cellular signal.

  • Tamper-proof — kids can't route around it

    Every Sunlight device is supervised during enrollment using Apple's real MDM protocol — the same one schools and enterprises use. Kids can't delete the app, remove DNS settings, or install a VPN to bypass filtering. Nice try.

  • Privacy-first — we don't read your family's traffic

    Sunlight filters at the domain level using encrypted DNS. We never see the full URLs, page content, or messages your kids visit. You get category-level counts — not a surveillance log.

Honest about what we don't do

Sunlight is Apple-only — iPhone, iPad, and Mac. If your household has Android phones or Windows laptops in the mix, Sunlight won't cover those. We'd rather be honest about that upfront than oversell. If your kids are all on Apple, you're in the right place.
