Got questions? We've got sunshine.

What devices does Sunlight support?
Apple devices running iOS 26 or later, iPadOS 26 or later, or macOS 26 or later. We don't support Android, Windows, ChromeOS, or older Apple OS versions — keeping the matrix tight is what lets us go deep on Apple's native protections rather than building shallow cross-platform workarounds.
What does Sunlight block?
Six content categories: Social Media, Gaming, Streaming, Messaging, Gambling, and Drugs & Alcohol. Plus DNS-level blocking of adult content, malware, and phishing via Cloudflare. You can also add custom domains to block or allow lists.
Does it work on all browsers?
Yes! DNS filtering works system-wide — Safari, Chrome, Firefox, in-app browsers, even that browser your kid swears they don't use. On iOS, Screen Time shields also block at the app level.
Can my child bypass Sunlight?
Not quietly. Every Sunlight device is supervised during enrollment, which means the protection profile can't be removed, the Sunlight app can't be deleted, and VPN tricks are blocked at the system level. If anything does change — supervision dropped, profile uninstalled, app removed — your dashboard pings you within minutes. The more they poke at it, the louder the alert. Nice try, kiddo.
Does Sunlight track browsing history?
Nope. DNS filtering happens via Cloudflare's encrypted DNS — zero browsing logs on our servers. On iOS, Apple's Screen Time APIs use opaque tokens, so specific app usage never leaves the device. We protect — we don't peek.
How do I supervise my child's device?
Inside your Sunlight dashboard. Add the device, follow the guided enrollment, and Sunlight handles the supervision profile end-to-end — no Apple Configurator, no Mac, no USB cable. Once supervision is on, protection is tamper-proof: profiles can't be removed, the Sunlight app can't be deleted, and any tamper attempt shows up in your dashboard within minutes.
